“The Kid Who Would Be King” Open Casting Call

Casting Directors are now casting teens of all ethnicities ages 10 and up for speaking and background roles for the new feature film “The Kid Who Would Be King”.

“The Kid Who Would Be King” is about a band of kids embark on an epic quest to thwart a medieval menace. The movie will be directed by Joe Cornish. He is a writer and director, known for Ant Man (2015), The Adventures of Tintin (2011) and Attack the Block (2011).

This is a working title featuring talent from Billy Elliot, Bridget Jones and other actors from “Les Miserables” It is a family fantasy action movie about a band of young kids. The casting team is looking for the following:

Boys and Girls Ages 10 – 15

They are looking for confident, smart kids of all shapes and sizes to play our lead roles. They can be from any ethnic background.

Extra/Supporting Actors Ages 16 – 22

They are also looking for people to fill supporting and extra roles.
